Our class is never in doubt every other team aspires to have a history like ours. Football like everything else in life changes. Look at seating, advertising, wages influx of foreign players, the list goes on. If you want to compete you have got to change otherwise you will stand still. The difference between the likes of us and chelsea is our history can stand up and be scrutinised, we have always been a top team and this investment if it comes will help us maintain our magnificent history.
Did you see the size off those chickens?

There's a good article on what money's doing to football on the BBC website at the moment:

        http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A19021277

I'm actually more interested in what goes on in lower leagues at the moment, there's genuine competition there.

To be honest, if number 19 comes along, would you give a ****, I wouldn't, there's always jealousy and bitterness from the mancs, when we won in Istanbul they were even trying to discredit that, which was an amazing achievement with the team we had, so don't expect anything less, if we won the league this year without spending anything they would try and discredit that, probably say something about the style of football we play or something, so don't worry, just expect it.

At the end of the day, no matter how much money you've got, when the players get out on the pitch, its eleven against eleven, you've stil got to go out and win the games and have the right manager and mentality, nobody can deny that Chelsea have got that in Mourinho no matter how much we loathe them.

But when the eleven happen to be world-class stars whom other clubs can only dream of having in their team? I doubt that teams in the Championship and lower divisions are sympathetic to this argument. Even if mismanaged, those eleven will still be on another planet compared to the players in financially poorer clubs. Wenger's a total hypocrite, but I still agree with his term 'financial doping' to describe what's going on.
