My best memory of Babbel, was when he scored against Neverton.

I dont think I've ever seen a right back play as well as Babbel during the treble season.

One in three people never return to full health from the illness he suffered from. Nice fella by all accounts too.

Its a crying shame that he got that disease. LFC has been incredibly unlucky in the last 15 years or so: id say rob jones, redknapp, babbel and to a lesser extent owen and fowler have had major injuries when any or all of those lads might have been the very best at their role in the epl or even the world.

were always crying out for "2 or 3 more world class players". lady luck has robbed us of that over the years.
