Aww I'm quite sad about this. He loves the club, I love his wholehearted approach and attitude. He showed amazing character bouncing back from those broken legs and I'll miss those bone-jarring challenges.

      All the best Stevie.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought technically he had come on loads over the last season, it was poor positioning that was stopping him from taking the step up.

Sad to see him go but I think for his career this is probably for the best.

            Best of luck to him.

Personally, he gave me the ****ters.

Loved the raw tackles though! Heart on the sleave player.

Apparently he's gone to Blackburn. But the fat lady is yet to sing.

                            Blackburn closer to Warnock deal

Blackburn manager Mark Hughes is hoping to complete the signing of Stephen Warnock from Liverpool on Monday.

The 25-year-old arrived at Blackburn's training ground for a medical as the squad prepared for Tuesday's Premiership trip to Watford.

Hughes said: "The deal is not done yet. We will see how the day goes. I hope there are no complications."

He has marked Warnock down as a potential replacement for Lucas Neill, who is set to join West Ham.

Hughes is coming to terms with the loss of central defender Andre Ooijer for the remainder of the season.

The Holland international had a successful operation after suffering a broken leg and damaging ankle ligaments in Saturday's 3-0 victory at Manchester City.

Hughes added: "It is a blow to us all. We are all disappointed for Andre.

"He has been a real influence for us both on and off the field. He has brought a winning mentality to the club and is a guy of great experience. We have been benefited from that.

"His day-to-day work has been excellent. He doesn't allow his standards or those around him to drop.

"The operation went well and, once his body heals, he will back."

                              Good luck to him
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue

What tale shall serve me here among
                              Mine angry and defrauded young?

                                and gone:

Liverpoolfc.tv can today confirm that the club have agreed terms with Blackburn Rovers over the sale of Stephen Warnock.
A graduate of the Liverpool Academy, Warnock was handed his chance in the first-team not long after Rafael Benitez arrived at the club and made his debut in the Champions League qualifier in Graz in August 2004.

The break into the first team followed an entire season on loan at First Division Coventry City, where he picked up the supporters' Player of the Year award.

Everyone at liverpoolfc.tv & Est1892 wishes Stephen all the best for the future.
