Best Defensive Record in the Premiership

    is LFC.

24 games 16 goals against. Slightly better than SCUM in the fact that we've played more games.

Credit to Rafa and the boys. Reina has had some justified criticism this season but he has responded well to his dip in form. Carragher has been instrumental again.
Agger has been a revelation and looks set to be an Anfield legend.
    Finnan - Mr Consistency.
Riise - has had a poor season but he'll come good.

    Our defence rocks

Also best home form in the prem, and most in form team as well.

Only thing that's let us down is the away form, which is steadily improving anyway, think we're 5th or thereabouts with regards to away points now

Whole team deserves a praise, not just defenders. We defend so well as a team. That is one of our major strenghts.

thing is with Riise, always gets this had a poor game defensivly but we don't conceed.
            Lucky player?

or is it he consitant so the other can compensate.

Carra gave him one hell of a bollocking 2nd half.

opne thing i've notice is the defenders have confidence in Reina these days.
Start of season they didn't seem to have

Carra was superb and my MoTM today
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Carra was superb i agree, I thought Riise was gonna cry when JC give it him, Gerard did it too but i think it was Crouch or Kuyt for not tracking back enough........bit unfair as they both ran thier nuts off as usual.
              08-09 Dirk monitor

              5 goals (target 15)

Isn't that what we like to see though, 2 captains on the pitch giving it plenty, one marshalling the defence and defenders, one from the middle going forward - the perfect combo imo anyway.

It is most certainly what the chavs are missing - John Terry for more than one reason.
