I thought it was very good - in fact as good as I've seen it this season.

Aurelio's passing and tackling were excellent and JAR had his best game of the season IMO. Not everything came off for him but he was up and down like a good 'un today. He's taken some stick this season because his level has dropped but he worked tirelessly today and was a constant outlet to start attacks. The switching of positions so they could each have a breather was also noticable. Well in lads !!!

I thought Carra was immense - and I think Dirk Kuyt is still chasing and harrying defenders as I type........ Two top notch performances.

Aurelio seems to have come in to his own in recent weeks and he deserves the praise that he's recieved recently.

yup did pretty well
would like to have seen him putting in crosses earlier instead of dwindlin gon the ball as he tends to.
stil think kewell is our best option.

Aurelio was excellent and Riise showed he can play, thought they interchanged positions well throughout the game and if they can dovetail like that every week we dont need a new left back.

Wouldn't that be ace, overlapping full-backs with wingers that can defend as a f/b and cross wings when needed, confusing possibilities at the same time!

Yeah they were doing it today to great effect and didnt get caught out, Chelsea's formation helped as they played very narrow but i guess Rafa knew that before selecting the team, oh and SWP was ****e.

SWP is shot, and needs a 12 month loan move to a mid-table club where he will play week in - week out and not get dumped due to a bad game. Unfortunately, we can't afford to do that for him, we need players that are ready for the fight the minute they sign.
