It will be very interesting to watch.

Not good enough for Ajax but still snapped up by Liverpool.

Hope this does not make us look bad.

it wont make us look bad at all mate.
If he makes it through our ranks great, if he doesnt, it wont be 9 O'Clock news.

Meanwhile, Lucas Neill’s decision to reject Liverpool in favour of West Ham may see Benitez postpone his move for a defender in the transfer window.

But the manager is continuing his youth recruitment policy, this week hoping to tie up a deal for 18-year-old striker Jordy Brouwer from Ajax.

Will he promote Lee Peltier then ? That's good if the case.

To be fair to Peltier he has aquited himself well at right back when he's played but he's naturally a midfielder and it shows in his positioning

In fairness, its only a couple of people on a football website mate, i wouldnt worry. They were more supprised that LFC a team bigger than Ajax, were taking a player they didnt want. IF people understood our situation they wouldnt be bothered.
one more thing, i read he is a big bloke, a good finisher. Maybe he is better suited to Premier League football than dutch football?.
