He was one of the most recognizable faces on the kop with his eccentric dressing and was a very popular figure amongst Liverpool fans.

The Kop will sadly miss one of it's favorite sons.

          RIP

I’ve always called him Badgeman. Mums knows his name. Used to see him in The Park, pre-match.

You could hear him every home game. Would be sad indeed if he did pass away.
As long as i can remember watching LFC i have always heard that rattle.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

DR FUN - REST IN PEACE
                                Mark Platt 22 January 2007

Liverpool fans are today mourning the sad passing of one of the Kop's most colourful and best-loved characters.
Lenny Campbell, 63, aka Dr Fun, finally lost his long battle against cancer at the weekend.

With his all-red suit and hand-puppet called Charlie, he was a well-known figure at games throughout the Eighties and Nineties and will be sadly missed by all.

On behalf of everyone at the club, Liverpoolfc.tv would like to send their deepest condolences to Lenny's family and friends at this sad time.
