That'd be my choice. For fives you need pace (especially acceleration over short distances), technique and shooting prowess.

Agreed. 'Cumbersome' would be a polite way of describing Riise, so he'd hardly be suited to five-a-side. Although his fantastic fitness levels would hold him in good stead.

Quite interesting, this, if a touch pointless. Arsenal's whole way of playing is obviously suited to five-a-side, so you'd have to back them.

As for us, I'm not sure I'd include a genuine centre-back. Agger, given his ability with the ball, would be good but I'd prefer more attacking possibilities. You could ask Stevie or Xabi to sit in and nick the ball off people (or in Stevie's case steam into people). Those two would certainly be my first two names on the teamsheet. Gerrard, obviously, for his pace, power and all round prowess. Xabi for his ball retention qualities, ability to keep the ball in very tight spaces and obviously for the little lay-offs and killer passes. Those two would be my defensive/midfield spine.

Bellamy would be the frontman, no question. Pace. I was ****-hot at 5-a-side when I played regularly, mainly cos I had a hammer shot and I had pace and could go past people. Oh for those days again...

As for the other place (Reina in goal is a gimme)...tough one. Gonzalez may be a good option - direct, pacey, goes past people and can score goals. Luis would be hopeless IMO. I'm in two minds about Sissoko - his role as a 'destroyer' would be vital but then if he's gonna give it straight back then it ain't much good, is it?!
