    Gillett deal.

I´m getting worried about this Gillett guy. He seem determent to delay everything. I´m worried that he knew if he kept the offer late DIC would not have the patient to wait and they would walk away from the deal.

    Could this be the case?

It would explain his tactics I suppose.

Don't worry about it though. If DIC are going to walk off because someone is trying to muscle in on their deal I don't think we'd have wanted them anyway.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

there could be many reasons why he came in with a late deal. I wouldn't read too much into it. Could just be the tonic to get DIC to sort out the T&C's and get the thing out of the way so we can all put this 'investment' bollocks to bed.

That would have been a close shave then, eh?

According to a very reliable member of this site Parry, Moores, Rafa and DIC had dinner at The Chester Grosvenor on Saturday night. Parry lives in Chester so it's probable that this is true and The Grosvenor is a top hotel where DIC could have stayed.

Is that the one with The Arkle Restuarant?

He sounds like a bitter guy, he must know that 99% of reds fans are against groundshare and that most of us trust the judgement of life long reds like Moores/Parry in their view that the DIC deal is the right one for us. He'll probably invest in Everton seeming as he wants to help them so much.

Michelin star restaraunt suggests that it's very good. I only live about a mile away from The Grosvenor but I've never eaten in there so I can't confirm whether the food is good or not but they don't hand Michelin stars out for nothing.
