OK it's halftime and Phil Neal can't stop talking... Why is Steve Hunter constantly looking to the camera? Is camerman actually a hot she?

The lad with the surname beginning with A? The one that I haven't got a clue how to pronounce or spell yet?

Astrid Adjarević or something like that. Not really a Sweed, more like Bosnian, but there you go The same as Zlatan Ibrahimović and Teddy Lućić. Come to think of it, the Swedish and Australian football teams should be united and called United states of Bosnia.

Australia has some Bosnians and Croatians too. Mark Viduka (Cro), Željko Kalač (Bos), Josip Skoko (Croi) etc.

Astrid reminds me of Didi Hamann. Now I have to just figure it why...

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Ajdarevic impresses in Liverpool Cup success
                              tribalfooball.com - January 26, 2007

New Liverpool signing Astrit Ajdarevic made his debut in yesterday's FA Youth Cup victory over Reading.

The 16 year-old Swede came on in the second-half and displayed some neat touches and great passing ability as Cup-holders Liverpool won through thanks to a stunning effort from Jimmy Ryan.

Ajdarevic joined Liverpool earlier this month from Swedish Second Division outfit Falkenburg.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
