He's gotten goals wherever he's been has big John, Arsenal, West Ham, Coventry, Celtic and West Brom, he's scored in the Champions League and he's scored for his Country.
Ok the pace isn't there but it never has been really has it? I'm sure he'd take a wage cut to join us, he's get us goals that's for sure.
Are you doing this for a bet?

Yep, the fact that he's willing to take a pay cut from his astronomical wages at West Brom is what seals it for me

If you're not joking then it would now finally be safe to assume you don't know much about football.

Quality mate, I love it. Post-modernists would be going wild over this one.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

He has never, ever in a million years been good enough to play for Liverpool. Just my opinion like.
I think there is a time when he would have been valuable to give us a different option in attack and he had one season at West Ham that suggested there was the potential to be a really good player. However any time when that sort of talk woul have been credible has long since passed and any way we have Crouch who performs the same function but with considerably more skill (although admittedly less powerful heading).
