out of interest, why is the shirt blank?

Its been clear from day one Carlsberg has probably been a ****e sponsor with regards coverage.

maybe its because they play for the youth team and they are under 18

well thats probably the case....but do other teams have their sponsor on shirts?

Only a side note, just passing through.

His position in Sweden seems to have been as an attacker, all article I've seen here says he's an attacker. As for the fee Swedish television reported that the initial fee was 3 million that may increase to 7 million. In pounds it's about 200k increasing to 500k.
The initial reports of the price was speculation based on what liverpool had payed for players his age before, probably the le tallec - sinama deal was the base for these assessments.
There was negotiations for about a week and I'm 100% sure that if we payed the price that was mentioned at first in the media these negotiations would have been over in about ten minutes because a Swedish club at the size of falkenberg would never be able say no to anything close to this.

Arghg! Too much conflicting info here LOL

All the articles about him signing have mentioned he is an attacker or striker as you point out. But I was fairly sure when we were first linked with him he was described as a CM, which is where he played for the ressies the other day, and is how he was described on official site.

Surely someone here has seen the guy play for Falkenberg? My guess is the confusion is either because he played CM for us the other day and people have picked up on that, or because when the Swedish press described him as an 'attacker' they meant an attacking midfielder rather than striker. I'm fecked if I know!

i must admit i thought he was a striker....but he may well be an attacking mid.

                            confusing to say the least.

surely someone is running the swedish leagues in FM

I think he is an attacking midfielder. Does not have the build for a CM and I'm sure all the reports I read had him as a striker/am.

Thing is he's only young, he can be moulded into whatever position Rafa want's him to be in. I think at a young age you really only have two types of player - attacking and defensive, and you are moulded into whatever position you are best suited to. It seems this lad is an attacker, from there he could be suited to any of the attacking positions.
