Fantastic player will be sorely missed but he hasn't gone yet, still got plenty to offer no matter what is said!! He has to be the most natural goalscorer to grace the premiership together with Alan Shearer!!

Definate testimonial if he does retire and its a cert for a sellout!!

Hope he does coach at the club but his talent is so natural there might not be much to pass on. In his book he talked about Macca asking him how he hit the bal so sweetly without any backlift and he didn't know.

Yup, it'll be a sad day in my opinion. Fowler will always be my favourite all time player, I remember just as I was getting into football, Robbie was just breaking into the 1st team, so that holds a lot of good memories, and I was gutted when he left. I was also chuffed to bits when he re-signed. It's a huge shame that he was injured for the best part of 4 seasons and that he fell out with Houllier.

I think people need to remember that - Ok, he's not as fast as he was - but he's still a leathal finisher. Look at last season, scored the winners vs Bolton & Blackburn, and scored the opening goals v Fulham, Pompey & Wigan. Also, slight coincidence that when he rejoins, a team that struggled scoring all season then banged in 23 goals in the final 9 matches?!? Not to mention the 3 disallowed goals he scored (2 should have stood). Also have a look at this season, generally playing with reserve/squad players, and still has probably the best goals to minutes ratio at the club.

Dalglish is the most loved player by the fans ever, followed by rushie. Robbie was a great player but anyone who saw Rushie and Dalglish together know the difference.

I love the fact he came back though and to see him score again at Anfield has been a ****in pleasure.

Yep same with me mate, grew up watching him, he was at times the only bright spark in an otherwise dire period for the Club, a complete one-off, a rare breed was(is) Robbie.
Some may say he's past it and yes he's not the same player he was between the years of 1994 and 2000 in terms of a bit a pace at least but has he scored goals for us consistently since he returned? YES

I'd definetely sign em up for another season but it's looking very likely this is last season with us and maybe indeed football.

Personally speaking i'll be truly devestated.

I dread the thought it honestly, he surely goes down as the most loved player in LFC history with the fans??

All good things come to an end sometime i suppose, players/managers come and go but the Club always remains but it'll be hard knowing we'll never see 'God' playing for us ever again, without pretending to know Robbie himself, he comes across as a typical fan and a dead down to earth fella,
On the pitch his sheer natural ability to score goals, to excite and produce magic moments makes/made him a hero amongst Liverpool fans.

A fooking legend and one that will be badly missed if and when he hangs up the boots.

Close but he's no Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish.

exactly reading my post about king kenny, that shows what being a true legend for the club is. I agree Robbie is a could of been. I think Stevie will be in that bracket specially when he collects number 19.
