    Nothing has changed..

    Just having a look at the Offal site and I spyed that before a ball has even been kicked the new home kit is sold out...

    Surely this would be costing the club money , Actually I know it is! as I was logging on to buy one and there already gone! I'll proably end up getting one from there in the long run as I want to put my $ directly into the club but how many will see this and go buy on elsewhere? ....

    After the disaster last year with the Champs League shirt which surely cost the club a fair whack.

    When are we going to get our house in order with Marketing/Merchandise?

    It's been said many times before - our marketing/merchandise team is ****ing woeful - I'm amazed the club let it go on like this - it almost shows arrogance, that they know because they are Liverpool it doesn't matter what they do because fans will pay the money even if they have to wait 10 weeks.

    Face it, if you can't get a LFC as they have no stock you're harldy going to go and buy a chelsea one!

          I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                I can't be arsed! It comes to something when people are so desperate to have a go at the club that they are moaning about not getting a shirt that isn't even on feckin sale yet!

                    Youve been able to pre-order the shirts for a couple of weeks, that is now impossible because every available shirt is already pre-ordered. Am I right ?

                      There will be more available tomorrow and the sports stores aren't getting their deliveries til tonight (My neice's fella works in one and I shall be getting the lads shirts with his discount!)

                          Of course it's frustrating if you want to buy a kit but it's hardly proof that the club are at fault.

                          1. Perhaps it happens all the time to loads of clubs. I wouldn't know, I have never tried to buy a Chelsea or Man U shirt from their club shops or anywhere else. Can anyone enlighten us? If so, why are you buying shirts for other clubs regularly enough to make out a pattern of availability?
                          2. Perhaps it doesn't happen to other clubs because they don't sell as many shirts so quickly.
                          3. Perhaps having the 'most visited club site in the world' (or something like that or did I dream that?) means that our e-marketing is actually streets ahead of the competition and that suppliers in the real world struggle to keep up.

                              Yeah we had a record number of shirts available and have sold out

                              Dont get what the problem is, the manufacturer can only make a certain number in a certain period and we have sold the full quota

                              I hear Chelsea have plenty of shirts left but those guys are considered marketing geniuses yet dont sell anywhere near the amount of shirts we do
