According to Teamtalk there may be a delay. Whether it ho's speculation or not isn't obvious.

Is it just me or does Teamtalk not talk crap?? Does anyone remember BB on Teamtalk many years ago? He was always going on about an "incredible signing" which we would make which would "rock the world of football", and the site was full of people claiming they saw Zidane shopping in Liverpool city centre etc!!

        Sounds just like Koptalk!

Even if thats true what would be the panic? Just said they're delaying a decision for a few days. Its arguably the most important decision in the clubs history, if you're 99.9% sure then that isnt enough it has to be 100%

Five Live have just confirmed that the Liverpool board met today and have agreed to look at Gillettes offer. THis move has apparently 'surprised' DIC.

No quotes and no source though. They could have just read it off Teamtalk. Why would our lot announce it to the press. Still sounds bollox.

                  Yup they are.

DIC are 'surprised' at LFC refusal... now want to look at Gillet's offer.

nothing wrong i see, they just want to be seen as doing their best in looking and considering every bid carefully, just putting on a show in other words...

                        LOL

Heard the report on 5Live and then read the TeamTalk report. 5Live report was word for word copy of TeamTalk's.

It might also be a tactic to buy some time to appease other parties, none of us know what is going on behind the scenes, sometimes you need to take a breather for whatever reason, so a delay in proceedings by whatever means is sometimes very welcome.

I imagine "investors" like granada want to maximise their profit and don't care much about who the club sells to. With 10% ownership, they must have a say. I hope Gillet doesn't get it, if only for his preference for a shared stadium.
