One possible scenario about this thing. Could it be possible that Moores was forced into that decision (to consider Gillett's bid) ? He's got 51% of LFC's shares and for a full takeover to happen, the other shareholders must be willing to sell their shares for it to happen isn't it ?

The fact that Gillett offering 500 pounds more to these shareholders has tilted the balance in my opinion ... Moores would be powerless to stop that. Could it be something instigated by Steve Morgan ??? That also could still be plausible.

In fairness. He has a point, Moores has done an awfull job of running the club. The love of the club is there, but he is not a good business man, and just loving the club is not enough. I know he would have wanted what is best in the future. But we are a million miles away from where we should be at the moment due to lack of brainpower at the helm. When Moores took charge, we were THE biggest club in england, now we just have the biggest trophy room.

I was so looking forward to DIC taken over. Every time I see the New emirates stadium on the Box I feel we are off the pace, sure every time I see them annoying electronic ad boards I feel we are off the pace, everytime I walk past an Addias shop and their is no Liverpool Fc merchandise in stock I feel we are off the pace.

Liverpool FC never handle communication issues well - With this investment saga I feel like we have been dick teased long enough, I'd prefere they would just shut the f up and tell us when its all over. Rather than we are confident we should have it resolved in a couple of weeks. You get the impression that these public statements were used as public negotiating tools with our hopes and dreams used as smoke and mirror tricks. I am not crazy about Gilliet, but is he the same fella who was in for us before, the guy who transformed a NFL franchise in the states and build one of the best stadiums to boot or is that the other American interested in Liverpool.

Either way I was kind looking forward to saying we could buy Chelsea 4 times and not break a sweat and I liked the Bravado of the DIC guy
