DIC have pulled out

It's shocking isn't it? We have whored the club around for the beat part of 2-3 years and then finally when we get a serious offer Parry, Moores and the board have ****ed them off.

DIC were the real deal. We all know it even if some don't like to admit it.

IMO The club has publicly made DIC out to be the second coming and made Gillett out to be just some unimportant interested party. This seems to have backfired on them now and if DIC are deffo out and Gillett has matched their offer (i.e. He'll payroll the stadium and put up dosh for future transfers) plus more for the shares (as has been reported) then The Club will now have to do a PR exercise to endear Gillett to us as the possible new owner of the club.

Personally I was all for the DIC takeover because I'd read/heard that Gillett has been Bankrupt before which worried me but that's only because we've heard/been fed nothing but good things about DIC and nothing but negative things about Gillett IMO.

Who knows? maybe Gillett turns out to be a brilliant new owner and takes us to the next level or maybe DIC will come back with a better offer and take us forward.

Bottom line is that NONE of us really know WTF is going on behind closed doors and NONE of us can see into the future so just CHILL THE **** OUT and let's see what develops

The process of seeking new owners for the club is still underway and a decision on the future will be taken in the next few days.


I know this is not much info but dont they mean it. Does this not mean that it WILL be done in a few days, or am I talking out of my ars?

Fair enough redlancer. You obviously have more faith in them than I do. I think the club is run in a very amateurish way and their handling of this whole affair has been embarrassing. Parry looks like a bit of a div now after kissing DIC's arse for 2 months....

She's right in a sense. Family is more important than anything but it doesn't take away the fact that you're footy team is also important.

You're better off ignoring anything coming out of LFC re investment. A few days could mean another couple of years.

He was in favour of a groundshare, something I and 99% of LFC fans are against. Hopefully he has changed his stance.

As for the Canadiens...They were good until he bought them and he also went bankrupt a few years ago... This doesn't bode well for us as we will be up to our eyes in debt if he buys us. We'll end up like the scum.
