Reading Al-Sansari's (or whatever his name is) statement convinces me of his love for the club. Gillett has done nothing to show he knows anything about football, never mind Liverpool, especially if he even thought groundshare was an option.

Boy did I misjudge this whole thing. When Parry and Moores dangle that DIC under our noses I was certain they would bend over backwards to get the deal done, even accepting a lower bid, so as not to face the wrath of the fans. Wrong again.

Small sacrifice by all parties - feel better now... you never know....

Before I go to bed....can I just say we will never be another Man U or Villa because we are Liverpool Football Club FFS & regardless of the name our traditions are what build the expectations of us & it is up to us in conjuction with the club to up hold it.
No deals are signed David Moores is still in charge but so far I have supported Parry & Moores on the basis they have done the best for the club. Until we are told other wise I'm working on that assumptiion that is the truth & karma will deal with the rest... and karma will....

It's actually really, really hurt me this.

I mean, after all these years of waiting and wondering, it looked like we FINALLY had a group (DIC) that by all accounts 'dont settle for second best', and had the financial backing to support the claim.

They could have funded the new stadium, wiped of the debts, and they even claimed they saw the preservation of the history and traditions of the club as paramount in their approach. For ****s sake, they even had a history in successful sports ownership and one of them was a Liverpool fan!

Yet, somehow...****ING SOMEHOW....we've driven them away.

I'm spitting livid.

In fact, I dont give a ****e about poor loyal, honest, trustworthy Mr Moores anf the rest of the board.

I share your pain mate. I dont remember the last time I was this depressed about the way the club was heading.

I was so optimistic yesterday as well after a good away performance I was certain we had the makings of championship winning squad as long as Rafa is backed in the summer.

I know it all sounds bad for the club, but I have to say I think a lot of people are jumping to conclusions based on knowing near-enough **** all about the situation and what's really gone on.

Only time will tell, people jumping on their soapboxes and offering to 'slit Moores' & Parry's throats' is all totally OTT right now IMO. As far as I can see the club itself are yet to make a full statement so everyone seems to have taken DIC's statement as gospel - if they're pissed at losing out/being outbidded then they're not exactly going to paint LFC/Moores in the best light are they?
