Something I wonder is how much will Rafa get to spend yearly.

We may get say £40 - £50m to spend in the market but I'm guessing thats all. We may have got more out of DIC, who knows but I suppose we need to keep being successful to make money for transfers once the initial budget has gone

ok, the bankrupt thing is tongue in cheek, but the debt point is valid in my opinion. We're £80m in debt, and looking for investment because we cant afford to get further into debt which no doubt the stadium costs will result in. The guy will only straddle us with more debt - this is obvious, so selling to him seems to defeat the purpose doesn't it?

Everything we heard was about DIC underwriting the stadium themselves - this is key for me.

Another small point.

In order to "saddle us with more debt" Gillette has to do a glazier. He has to take the club away from being a PLC and into being a privately owned company.
So his debt becomes our debt.

So he needs at least 75% of the shares to do that.

I don't think Moores is going to let this happen.

nobody does, its opinion. I cant see groundshare going ahead now. Just 5 minutes with LFC fans will convince Gillette of that and dont think he doesnt know what LFC is about or how much the club means to people as Moores will have filled him in.

Rafa need more money to be able to compete, the club need a new stadium to be able to compete and we need a businessman to take care of the club.

I don't know that it WILL Dan,I am just very worried about this

As I have said a couple of times, I don't know anything about the reality of the situation.

Groundshare is common in Italy for example, and the fans hate it, I lived in Italy and talked with Juve , Roma, Lazio fans among others.

It is better financially for the owners, they can make more money , so it happens.Maybe I am just paranoid.

Obviously I hope that Gillet, if he buys us, will be a knight in shining armour, totally honourable , ready to lead us to the promised land.

But I don't feel too confident right now.
Gillet is not an LFC fan as far as I know
