Let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks before jumping to conclusions. There's a match on Saturday and we should focus on that now. The investment saga can go on until the summer provided we get proper funding in place for the next transfer window ... In the meantime, chill out guys as we're all clutching at straws at the moment.

This is really a load of Bollox ! I am one of those sunshine charlies that have been saying leave Parry to get on with it, but even I have lost patience and worse still faith in the way this has been handled.
I do not like the sound of this yank one bit I have to sayAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

How can we trust a man like Parry who was so pro DIC over the last couple of months and then all of a sudden we hear that there's been a complete turn around and DIC are no longer flavour of the month? How are we expected to just blindly follow Parry when he clearly changes his view from one day to the next?
I don't trust him or his judgement when it comes investment and I never will.
It's time for Parry to leave. He is a fan but he talks a lot of ****.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Re stadium - different situation. He borrowed against the value of an existing stadium. Don't see how that affects us since he would be financing the building of ours.Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostI read somewhere (probably Echo article) that he financed the purchase of the hockey club by mortgaging their stadium. Seems clear to me he'd do the same with our new stadium and we'll become like Arsenal - heavily reliant on CL qualification every year to make sure we just keep up with the interest repayments, never mind giving the manager sufficient funds in the transfer market.
Parry is going to have to say a lot more than just "trust me".

And yet he comes out with a statement today, where the only substantive thing he says is "trust us"Originally posted by desertscouser View PostI find it amazing that people can't see why we're so upset.

These two clowns are looking for the impossible, they want to sell the club to a rich benefactor because they are incapable of running it as any kind of financially viable enity and have run it into masses of debt. Moores wants to get the best possible financial deal for himself by selling yet they both want to retain their roles and keep on running the club. It's no wonder we're three years down the line into this we seem to have made no discernable progress whatsoever.Last edited by Dhav; 01-02-07, 03:07 PM.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

You have to ask yourself why Parry isn't saying anything apart from "trust us", when for two months he has been extollling the virtues of the DIC bid while the club have been very dismissive of Gillett.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostNo, we're all upset, but I'd like to hear more details before blaming anyone.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Did you read the press release earlier?Originally posted by desertscouser View PostI find it amazing that people can't see why we're so upset.

They had a duty to consider other bids, and DIC gave them a ridiculous 12 hour deadline.
I'm surprised you can't smell the rat with DIC....Quote of the year :

The board knew everything about the DIC bid so why delay the decision? They also knew everything about the Gillett deal.
All they had to do was to make a quick decision about something they already knows everything about. Why delay that decision?Just believe and you never know what will happen.

It's becoming boring now ... We don't know anything more than the press and the media are going to show us and that's far from factual elements anyway.Originally posted by AFII View PostWhy is the 12 hour deadline ridiculous?

I know what you mean but to me the problem is that we as fans are always the last to know anything. I think you'll find all football Clubs are the same unless you know different. So I don't think it's necessarily a Parry problem more a football problem.
Of course in the present situation it's hard to defend any of them because it does seem a total shambles. I wish I could wake up tomorrow and find new owners in place with a certain Mr Dalglish at the helm. Sigh..........no bloody chance.

Exactly.
Trust Parry my ar$e. His 'trust us' comment was pathetic after his 2 month public love affair with the DIC.

If people don't trust Parry, how come everyone is putting so much faith in what he said about DIC? That was the deal where he kept his job, so perhaps all that dewy-eyed stuff was just pap to keep us on board, and the dismissing of Gillett part of the same strategy? * Or did we choose to trust Parry on DIC because it was what we wanted to hear?
* I don't believe that, but it's entirely consistent with some of the dirt being thrown Parry's way. I'm actually in the 'We are all leaping to conclusions based on incomplete and inadequate information about the facts' camp.
