Its sad that the innocent Juventus fans were murdered if you will agree by bloodthirsty Juventus fans who were abusing our fans. Yes it is sad but Juventus still havent forgiven us. In 2005 they booed us when we offered the handshake and sang the song. I don't know what can be done.
I know a Juventus fan and he does not talk to me because of Heysel, His brother is a Lazio fan and will talk to me. Some Juventus fans still hurtId rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars

This accusing is getting on me tits as well. But the saddest thing is that when Mancs accuse us of beeing murderers, some of our fans (minority of course) start talking **** about Munich and stuff like that.
It's just not healthy for both sides.
And yes, I do believe we are innocent, but it's just not gonna happen. We can say we are innocent but quick as a flash people will ask: "If you are innocent, why were you forbidden to play in Europe?". And here we go again...
However, friendly matches in pre-season every year sound a good idea.Torres Fan Club Member #2, Lucas Leiva Fan Club Member #1

Thank you Iceman I now understand much better .Originally posted by Iceman View PostOK some education obviously needed
AS stated previously the stadium was a joke and well past its sell by date
The bulk of the italian fans were behind one goal I think sectors A, B & C
we were behind the opposite goal in sectors X & Y( y being the sector directly behind the goal) but for some reason best known to the authorities they had sold tickets in sector Z to italian fans
Now the Italian mentality comes into play here, for some reason most of them go into the ground as soon as the gates opened, we brits on the other hand tend to wander about outside for a while and soak up the atmosphere outside
about an hour before kick off some of the italians started throwing pieces of the disintegrating stadium at our few fans in sector Y, as Y filled up they started spitting as soon as our fans came in range obviously as sectors X & Y filled up the odds changed into our favour and some charged sector Z...... those in sector Z fled towards the side of their section nearest the stand and a wall gave way killing 39 italians.
The saddest part of this is that those nearest the wall were those trying to keep away from any trouble the trouble makers were obviously closest to sector Y and I presume escaped unhurt

and long before that aswell.Originally posted by The Glove View PostThey suggested such things when we played them.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I've just been on a bands website, where someone had posted an article about the band from the s*n. A liverpool fan replied by saying "F*ck the s*n, YNWA, Justice for the 96".
To which a Manc c*nt replied simply "JFH" - which i'm assuming means Justice for Heysel. What a ****ing piece of ****.

I will not agree. A number of factors played a part, in what proportions I couldn't say with any great authority, but nobody deserves the tag of murderers for it. For anyone to say it was caused by bloodthristy Juve fans is not just simplistic but ****ing scandalous. Exactly the kind of vulgar analysis MacKenzie made use of with Hillsborough.Originally posted by anfieldpurch View PostIts sad that the innocent Juventus fans were murdered if you will agree by bloodthirsty Juventus fans who were abusing our fans.Last edited by Red_Polo; 01-02-07, 01:47 PM.Like blood on iron

Spot on. It is far too simplistic a view on what happened.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

My post was just a factual account of the events it was not meant to lay the blame on any supporters
If anything I blame Uefa for picking a stadium that was not fit to hold a kids kick about, and the stadium authorities who decided to abandon any idea of segregation................ there should not have been any Italian supporters anywhere near our standing areaLawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"
Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"
Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Is that actually true though - way I remember it most Juve fans applauded during the minute's silence, which is what people tend to do in Italy rather than observing a silence. There was just a small group of their fans who turned their backs on it and held some placards in protest.Originally posted by anfieldpurch View PostIn 2005 they booed us when we offered the handshake and sang the song.Like blood on iron
