Could be. I think that as long as you have submitted the legal documents before midnight the deal can happen. We do seem to be cutting it a bit fine though.

I'm not sure whether they would... The club don't usually comment on speculation but Rafa has openly talked about Mascherano so you never know.

Bloke on SSN saying the Mascherano deal WILL be signed and 'ratified' before midnight. Apparently they're literally waiting on "one piece of paper".

Although how the **** he knows this is anybody's guess.
