That's great. Any chance of something for Steve Cook as well?

All they need do is turn up at Anfield on any given matchday, about 10 of them, with a bucket each and walk around in the streets collecting. Job done.

Note to Rick Parry, do the same and we might get that new stadium you promised
Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

only do-able if we all keep at it. also, the interest on it just grows all the time

Well if the guys turned out at every home game - they might get between £5k-£10k each time, depending on location and whether it's an Evening or afternoon kick-off.

Yes, I agree, they'd certainly get something, but there's no way 40,000 people would give £1 each. It just wouldn't happen.

If they made it a monthly thing it might be a better idea, rather than standing there every game asking supporters for money.

I know mate, I wish his family all the best. I've been to Malia and it's not a big town, basically a large village and not the place that someone could go unnoticed for a day.

My wife and I flew out for my wedding last year from Manchester Airport and saw all the photos and 'Missing' letters (a wedding I went to at Liverpool Uni a fornight ago had them too in the hall)...two weeks later when I returned I couldn't believe they were still there and he hadn't been found. We are coming up to our first wedding anniversary and he still hasn't been found.

Unfortunately it's difficult not to fear the worst. Best of luck to his family, YNWA
