    Was i hearing things on SSN last night?

    Could have swore on of the SSN presenters said rather convincinly our new boy Arbeloa will start ahead of Stevie Finnan in the Merseryside Derby wtf, wtf, wtf sprung to mind instantly.

    So we're gonna drop one of our main players who's been in cracking form of late and has experience of playing in this fixture for a new guy who we haven't even seen yet is going to be chucked in at the deep end, in a merseyside derby of all games

    Something ain't adding up here.

                For the most part i'd disagree entiely but comments like this do "Liverpool fans" no favours whatsoever. I make a post declaring my complete surprise at one of our best players reportedly going to be dropped in favour of a complete unknown for a MERSEYSIDE DERBY of all games,

                  No you were'nt hearing things Mark they did actually say it.

                  However they are total ****wits and know **** all.

                  All the take over talk is largely irrelevant because the game that I knew stopped around 1992 when these pricks became involved in football and money became more imortant than trophies

                      In fairness i did hear it on Sky News last night, but SSN or whoever have no idea who Rafa will pick on Sat like most of us! They were probably just pickin up on the fact that Rafa said that he is ready if he is needed in the press conference.

                            I have never heard the saying 'Liverpool fans are stupid'.

                            It does seem odd throwing this Spanish lad on for his debut in the derby but you keep mentioning that he's a complete unknown and although that's true to most of us, it's not true in Rafa's case. Rafa knows him and that's all that counts, so if he thinks he can handle the derby then so be it.

                              I thought they just said he was AVAILABLE for the derby. As is Dudek! I can't see us playing him either.
