    Newcastle-class that is.

    Better stats than Owen anyhoo.

peter crouch will Not be a liverpool player next season, he is simply not clinically or consistant enough, we now have our own version of andy cole. i am also convinced that if rafa could of pulled in 12 mill for him and found a replacement that could of played in europe for the run in, crouch would of gone. 12 mill is a good price for a bench player with the occasional start, dont convince yourself he is anything other .

I agree. I also think that the main reason that Crouch stayed is because Rafa couldn't find a replacement last month.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If someone gave me 12m for Crouch, i'd laugh all the way to the bank.

Also, there are players too stupid to know what to when teams digg in, so they revert to type and play long balls to him all the time - they can **** off an' all. It's predictable and above all terrible to watch.

I think that Rafa would have sold Crouch if Garcia would have been fit. Now we don't have anyone who can replace Crouch if we sold him and it's very difficult to find a good enough replacement in January that isn't cup tied.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa also sells Bellamy in the summer. Bellamy is more or less as limited as Crouch. He simply can't hurt a team thay plays very deep like Everton did today.

Kuyt, Villa and Klose as our three main strikers next season would make a lot of difference. That would take us to the next level.

Sell Crouch, Cisse and Pongolle and buy David Villa. I rate Villa one of the best strikers at the moment.

Needs to work on his heading though.
Agree, he comes across as a very interesting and intelligent bloke does Crouchy with a sharp sense of humour.

I couldn't care if he had Peter Kay one liners combined with P. Cook's dry wit, it's utterly irrelevant... he's pretty poor and we can do better, much better.

I totally agree with you mate. But i would like to see him work on body strength rather than his heading as he clearly got nowhere near the ball on some occasions today being muscled out the way.

What would've been the point in selling our top scorer without a better replacement to bring in?
