He should have buried the chance he had or at least forced Howard into a save. He'll never be more than a 60 minute alternative or a strategy against teams without good defensive height for long balls.
That being said - I think we should keep him but ideally just as an alternative option if things arent going our way. We should have sufficient depth where we dont need him except in specific situations as a super subComment

We don't need to play with a target man upfront. Look at manure, they play with Saha / Larsson with Rooney, two very mobile and very able technical players. We need to have these sort of players in the premier league. We're too one dimensional. Crouch would be a great option from the bench, a plan B type of player, but not from the start ...
