If Javier settles into the Premiership Alonso may well stuggle to get back in.

He was ****ing gash today... Riise gash.

Was Riise gash due to wondering wtf Kuyt was doing in front of him? ****ed if I knew anyway.

Finnan & Pennant were not much better, and no chalk line on Pennants boots for a start, and his crossing is woeful at the moment.

Xabi & SG did not control the middle today like they can, was SG running around trying harder due to Xabi having an off day, and getting nowhere fast.

Crouch was a disaster up front today.

Thank god we have a decent defence & goalie, Agger is looking more & more assured, but Carra was guilty of hell of hoofing it up the park today - gotta wonder why they were bypassing the midfield so much.

What a piss poor week, after the DIC announcement we get this shower of **** served up.

                Football - pah!

i've been one of pennants biggest critics and was gutted when we signed him. to be fair to him however, i though he was our best player today. ok he didnt tear them apart, but he looked confident on the ball and i thought he did his job ? xabi and SG looked knackered? and that is the worst ive seen finnan play for a long time....... what a positive first post!

                      Welcome

I can't agree with you about Pennant. Yes he did get many crosses into the box but almost all of them was very poor. I do agree with you when it comes down that Xabi and Stevie looked tired today.

Xabi will get his rest now when he is banned against Newcastle.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                        Welcome Momo.
Pennant was ok - but no more.
                        Agree with Finnnan also.

Gerrard generally isn't 'at it' in the middle IMO. I'll get slated for it but what the hell. Pin him down and his performances are about 6-7. Give him licence to wander and his performances will be 8-9.

Pennant looked the best player, even he didn't play better than a low 7. Xabi was the worst I have ever seen him as with Riise, Crouch and Bellers.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely Xabi's worse display in a Liverpool shirt. A week off will see him right

Your spot on about Stevie.Him and Xabi were rubbish today and he really hasn't done anything to convince me he shouldnt be out wide when Momo comes back.Apart from second half against Chelsea when he was brilliant He's been good, not great.I really think he's better out wide.He can still get into the dangerous forward positions from there and damage teams.
