sometimes people have to realise that.

just cos a players good now doesn't mean we missed out.

Ronaldo i'm sure has come in for loads of stick last few years with his showboating, and would of had loads of stick just like a certain Garcia gets now and he's done the biz from day one if he'd of played for us.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

      Simao.

We need someone to do what Ronaldo does...and I dont mean misdemeanors in the bedroom.
Mancini want to quit Roma. He is an excellent right winger and scores a lot of goals.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

That's true as well, I hate to say it but Ferguson knows how to get the best out of the younger players.

Alessandro Faiolhe Amantino (IPA: [ɐlə'sɐ̃dru faˈjɔʎi ɐmɐ̃ˈʧinu]), best known as Mancini (mɐ̃ˈsinʲi) (born August 1, 1980 in Ipatinga, Brazil) is a professional football (soccer) player, currently playing with A.S. Roma of the Italian Serie A. In the 2005-2006 season, Mancini put in some sensational performances after the injury of club captain Francesco Totti, helping the club to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Many fans of Italian football and indeed of internation football have questioned Mancini's omissions from the Brazil national team. New coach Dunga has called-up several players from the Brazilian league yet Mancini has been consistently over-looked.

Mancini is an extremely versatile player, having played at right-back, right-midfield and winger, attacking-midfield and even as part of a front three. This versatility has seen him cement his place in Roma's first XI and put in some sensational displays over the past two seasons. However, Mancini rarely plays in defence anymore and has been getting considerable game time playing on the left side of midfield and attack.

Yup. GH would've sucked all the attacking instincts out of him within a couple of years. he'd probably be on loan to Sunderland right about now instead of being one of the best players in the world which he clearly is. Incredible player and a complete **** to boot. Wish he was a red.

Mancini is as good as Ronaldo IMO.

Inter wants him in their team for next season. Romas answer was that they will sell him for 50% of Adriano plus Pizarro.

Mancini is a great little player, if he wants to leave, and we arn't in for him, we should be ashamed.

I still think Rafas number one target will be Alves if he gets this sort of money.

Lennon is an outstanding prospect and would a brilliant addition to the team. we need someone who can regularly beat his man & help open up opposition defenses, especially at home. Yesterday was typical. If we had a player like lennon , we'd have won yesterday. He can beat defenders causing covering defenders to leave their man to stop him. Yesterday we didn't do that once. everytime a cross came in the box was so congested. a good wide man would have committed other defenders thus freeing up more space for our forwards.

We need a winger badly. IMO that is what is separating us at the moment from the the top two. If Chelsea or Manure have the kind of possession we had against Everton you know that Ronaldo or Robben are going to either score or create a goal by showing some twinkle toe winger action!

Pennant does not at the moment have that kind of impact on games, Aurelio is injured most of the time (and isn't that kind of player anyway) and Speedy is yet to set the world alight......oh and i forgot Harry who, bless him, is always injured too.

We need a winger who is going to take games by the scruff of the neck and win them for us. They are few and far between, but they are out there, as others have mentioned on this thread.

Sneijder, Mancini, Alves and Ribery is a few examples of good wingers that also can score a few goals.

Mata is probably the best young spanish winger. Rafa have already signed Leto so I guess that he won't be after a new left winger in the summer.

If we really DO get that sort of money to spend wouldn't it be funny if we bid something stupid like £50m for both Ronaldo and Rooney. We haven't got a **** in hell's chance of getting either of them but it would be worth it just to see Ferguson's face explode and get all the Mancs ****ting themselves that their two best players might be on their way to the team they hate/fear the most...

It wasn't a case of not signing him - we offered £3-4m, which the club was happy to accept and Scum offered £12m, so game over. But he is an appalling, cheating, diving, greaseball scumbag, so I'm just thankful he finds himself at his spiritual home - until he goes to Spain at the end of the season of course. I see he went down as if hit by a sniper's bullet today at the merest hint of a Spurs' player's presence near him. He's just awful
