Having seen the London Stock exchange takeover panel it has Gillett down as having made an offer for the club.

But he still has to issue an offer to all shareholders. Has he even done that yet?

So the stock exchange says he's made an offer?! I never knew this as there hasn't been an anouncement and every article I've read said that there would be an anouncement made through the stock exchange this week.

Dont think he's made an official offer yet, the take over panel just took DIC out and put Gilletts name in there as soon as DIC pulled out so its not anything recent ie last few days.

Theyve got zero chance, Morgan has said the money is to much and Miskelly is a pauper (Well for the dream he wants he is), they'd get laughed out of Liverpool by Moores I think.

I thought the same when the DIC bid was aparently close to completion but as you said "with us you never know". It could well drag on for another year or 2.

One thing is though that no AGM has been announced yet so perhaps they're waiting to tie up the deal before announcing when that'll take place.

Even them two combined wouldnt put a share offer in anywhere near the amount Hicks and Gillett are going to. Gillett and Hicks offered £500 more a share than DIC and supposedly gave written guarantees about all the requirements ie stadium and stuff, theres no way Morgan and Miskelly will get anywhere near it. Morgan wanted control on the cheap, he wont get involved in a deal like this I dont think.
