I'd actually agree with that 'in principal'.

If you did pay 10m for him, you just KNOW that would signal a career-ending injury.

I'm sure Boro have first refusal, like us and the Maschareno deal. They'll sign him as he has been a success.
No chance of him coming here.

There's every chance of him coming here, CL football or early League Cup football, let me take a minute to think about it please.

But if Boro want him, he'll go there.

Are you saying that if the Chavs want Maschareno in 18 months time we've been paying his wages for 2 years for nothing?

not convinced by his fitness or injury's so would risk constantly changing the back the 2.

although in the 3 CB formation would be a shout.

think cost and injuries would make this a no no
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Id like him but i would also like Agger to get a proper go at been a first team reg.

I guess 3 at the back would suit

                  Carra - Woodgate - Agger............Pretty good defence

Players go where players want to go, and it's generally CL football that sways them, there are a few exceptions.

If we went in for Woodgate and offered him CL football over what Boro offer, then it wouldn't be as cut and dried as you suggest, he wants to play for England and be tested in the CL, I can't see Boro in the CL in the near future.

As for Maschareno, sure we'd be upset, but nothing we can do about it is there?

It's the players choice, not the clubs.

He'll move from Boro within a year. Wasting his time moving there no ambition.

Just happy to actually play and for his home club

ive just heard boro have agreed a fee for the player with madrid, but not a deal with the player, so if any1 else matches that fee he will be free to choose

did i mention i live in middlesbrough lol
