How do people feel about Gillett/Hicks

I think we'll be ok, it seems the way in which the deal has been levereged is similar to the Mancs and the Arsenal stadium deal and these guys seem to be ok and doing well. Gillet and Hicks are talking the talk.

I'm as happy with them as I would have been with DIC neither were going to pump money in, both were going to view it as an investment. At least Hicks has experience of building large scale sporting arenas.

yeah I can see wehre you're coming from. Even if DIC had come on board instead, neither would have given Rafa an unlimited pot to buy from. However I think both would have ensured if there was a particular player Rafa wanted then then he would not have to worry about the cost of getting him (ie Alves etc)

Yip after all the hype and disappointment of the failed DIC bid last week I am happy to give the Yanks a go. They are saying all the right things and the future looks bright. For some unknown reason I am feeling optimistic today!!

I say lets give them a chance. No matter what happens or what you think of them there are going to be interesting times ahead.
