I've been on the waiting list for about 5 years or so now. Do you think that they will massively expand the number of season tickets available in the new stadium? What are the chances they can clear out the waiting list and give everyone who wants a ticket one?

there will still be a long waiting list i would have thought, but yes, a few more season tickets should be sold.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I think you could be right there. People will be more selective over which matches they want to go to.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostThere will be less of a 'need' for season tickets with a 60,000 seater stadium anyway.
Getting tickets should be less of a scramble than it is now.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

26,000 I think. I hope the price of season tickets doesn't go up too much otherwise I may have to bail out after 20 years.
I would also like to think that they could find a way of getting more kids at the game otherwise the next generation are going to be clueless."Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest."

Ok, if it's 26,000 ST holders we have, and say 19,000 on the waiting list, that means they could wipe out the waiting list in one go, and still have some 15,000 tickets available to sell per game (less say 3,000 for away fans).Originally posted by PLY View Post26,000 I think. That would do nicely.
