The important thing is that the name will be mentioned very much in the media and in connection to Liverpool FC one of the most famous clubs in the World.
The naming rights are not like a shirt sponsorship when the team travels all over the world. Arsenal's stadium is in the capital, where a majority of business in the UK is focussed. Everyone in that huge city will see "The Emirates stadium" every day.
Anfield area is very much dependant on LFC for it to survive, it's not a thriving metropolis.

It's a nice idea AF but if we get 100 million for the naming rights then I think that would be a very good piece of business indeed.

We are the dominant club in the City and that's also a plus.

It wouldn't surprise me if they already have agreed a deal with a big company.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

But surely the Television exposure is far more important than the Local people seeing the stadium?

I'm no expert, but I wasn't just talking about local people, I was talking about MAJOR businesses visiting London, major political figures visiting London.
That's quite good advertising for an Airline.

Gillett said today that if selling the naming rights of the stadium meant that thew club could afford a top class player every season on top of the allocated transfer funds then it would be worth while. That seems like a pretty decent deal to me. At the end of the day the new stadium will be known amongst LFC fans as Stanley Park or Anfield 2 or whatever and not the KY Jelly Arena or whatever it will be called.

Calling it the KY Jelly Arena would definitely ease any friction.
