                      Who cares about what Real or Barca's shops look like? All that was merely pointed out was that we needed more shops around the world. That we'd mirror them to look exactly like their shops is unrealistic and just smacks of pedantry.

                      Rafa mentioned:

                      There's no big details there and I think they wouldn't do a half-arsed job if they did infact expand and make us a globally more accessible club (merchandising-wise), which is what Rafa was getting at there.

                      I am certain the Americans will explore and exploit the revenue streams and marketing areas of this club to the hilt. Of that I am certain, otherwise they wouldn't have got engaged in this whole shebang.

                              I think we can learn a lot from the Americans about marketing and distribution. We are light years behind Madrid, Barca, the Mancs and even Chelsea when it comes to commercial activities off the field.

                              However, a few words of caution: I remember we all got excited on KT when we heard Granada were buying a stake in the club a few years ago as we thought their marketing acumen might help us. What did it change? Exactly...
