They came out and denied it as did Rick Parry. Just the club trying to make the fans feel better about the American deal imo.

When you say Parry denied it, do you mean he did so whilst we were still in negotiations with DIC? If so, then obviously he and the Arabs would have denied it for the exact reason you stated: To make us feel better.

I'm not convinced about this whole document 'project oslo'; sell the club in 7 years.

If the papers have it, why don't they print it. The USA bid looks signed, however its not sealed yet. So

What harm could it do if the paper prints the report now, that is if they have it. Who's to say other investors haven't read the document and may follow suit in 7 years time but are just keeping tight-lipped about the whole idea.

Oh come off it for flying ****s sake. The document was or wasn't leaked. DIC were or were not going to have an exit strategy in place. Tomorrow it may or may not rain. Gillett and Hicks may or may not sell the club again in 7 years' time. Blablalbalbla :whatever:

But if he knew it was true, do you not think he would have called off negotiations with them straight away?

Maybe everyone involved didn't want to be embarrassed by the possibility of the memo's truthfulness. And they didn't want to believe it. That's the impression I got at first when I read some breakdown of what happened exactly. (Think it was on the offal, can't remember)
