Carra is well on his way to legendhood - McClaren is just a(nother) sub-standard, done nothing, England manager appointed by dickheads and will win nowt.

I find it hard to care for the English team when the FA is so mismanaged. But I do...

I think we'll eventually find Ledley King in front of Carra as well. Not that bothered though to be honest, don't care about England, plus rather he focussed on LFC.

I'm being serious here, why doesn't Carra just retire from International football?

Why do you feel the need to start your sentances with "I'm being serious here"

And do you really think you will receive a satisfactory answer to a question on here which only Carra can answer?

Perhaps he's proud to represent his country.

Carragher has been absolutely brilliant in the last few seasons, rarely made a mistake, always leaves his heart on the pitch, always gives more than 100% for the team... And who gets a nod for England? Jonathan ****ing Woodagate, a guy who has been injured for... for... like forever... a guy who had come back and played 2 or 3 good games for Boro... What the **** is going on?!

I can't understand that Carragher is so underrated! I just can't. I think he is one of the best defenders in the World, not just in England. And he never gets picked for international duties. It is just ridiculous! Now he is England's fourth defender, beehind John Terry, Rio ****e and Woodgate...
I for one am glad that Carra didn't have to start in what pretty much looked like an England B team. The headache of playing in a defence with both Neville's was for the most part fortunately avoided.

Even though we're all club over country it's still nice to see some of your own represented in the internationals but I think Carra has got himself a 'utility man' tag which is a shame because no one bar JT has performed to his level at centre half over the last few years.

I'm not sure we'll ever see the best of Carragher in an England shirt given the pressure he's under to perform when he does play. Even if he plays a blinder he won't be first choice come the next game if JT and Rio are fit and theres diddly squat any of us can do about it.

My sentiments exactly. I'm past caring, was actually more interested in the Spanish. McLaren is completely clueless, hope he loses all his matches from now on so that by the end of the year he will be plucking away on some remote farm in Brignall where the sun don't shine, bwoi!

Thing is, considering how incredibly inept and farcical the FA are, they'll appoint Stewart Pearce who will get fired from Man City or something like that

Remember, we're only adding to the nonsense.

Walking a lonely road one night, Nasruddin saw riders approaching. His imagination ran riot: he saw himself robbed or killed, so he climbed a wall into a graveyard and hid. Puzzled at his behaviour, the riders, who were followers of the Mullah, followed. Finding him cowering behind a grave, they asked "Great Sage, why are you hiding here?". "It's more complicated than you think" he replied, "I'm here because of you - and you're here because of me"

just goes to show what an amateur mclaren is. he was out of his depth at boro and that's now deemed ample qualification for the international post? the press don't help with their constant gutter-sniping but FFS you could do a whole lot better.

still, if it means he avoids injuries then it's all the better for liverpool. to borrow a phrase from our new owners, carra's already a hall of famer. now it's just a question of where on the list of all time greats he ends up.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
                          that'll only make it harder.

                              Is Jamie Carragher illegal?
                              Oh I don't know.

Apparently so. Dealing Jamie Carragher is indeed illegal but I'd have thought that possessing a small amount of Jamie Carragher for personal purposes should be permitted.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
