he has been the best centre half along with terry in england for 3 years now and one of the best in europe, so if mcclaren cant see that it shows what a **** he is. he really doesn't have a clue to me it looks like he is still afraid to drop big name players (beckham aside). but it keeps jamie fresh and injury free for us i suppose though it does annoy me that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves!

Carragher has been absolutely brilliant in the last few seasons, rarely made a mistake, always leaves his heart on the pitch, always gives more than 100% for the team... And who gets a nod for England? Jonathan ****ing Woodagate, a guy who has been injured for... for... like forever... a guy who had come back and played 2 or 3 good games for Boro... What the **** is going on?!

I can't understand that Carragher is so underrated! I just can't. I think he is one of the best defenders in the World, not just in England. And he never gets picked for international duties. It is just ridiculous! Now he is England's fourth defender, beehind John Terry, Rio ****e and Woodgate...

Its better that Carra doesn't get injured playing in a meaningless friendly.

That, I have to agree with but without Tosh as he would do a better job than McClaren would at England. Also has the experience of managing at the highest level with Real Madrid twice so the others are not a pick on him.
