    Our spending compared to the Scum

    I have an argument with my manc mate about how much we have spent the last couple of years, compared to United.

    He says he is sick of Carra and Rafas comments about, how nice it would be if we could now match United in the transfer market. The sad fcuk thinks that we have spent close to what United have in recent years... I strongly disagree!

    Does anybody know a respectable website with stats of transfer fees in relation to clubs? I would like to wipe his face with som hard facts!

    I thought it would be an easy discussion, but he is a bit daft (stating the obvious, I know it should be expected for a Manc), so any stats would be welcomed!

      a 'manc' mate had mine said that over the last 3 yrs it was Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool then scum ........cant see it myself , not sure where he saw the table

        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          we probably have spent around about ehat they have in recent years.

          Its just they have the ability to splash $20mill on one player. Whereas we have to spread that out for 3 players.

          that will change now hopefully

              Mancs spent more than 50 mio on Carrick and Rooney, whereas we spent that kind of money on 39489810984 players...
