If we have a top of the range stadium, then as Hicks and Gillett already do with thier stadiums, we can use it for stuff other than football. We can also apply to host the Uefa or even CL finals. Brings in money for the club and the city.

In all seriousness I would even contemplate a year delay for resubmission of the plans for an improved stadium design.
