On the Ning Nang Nong
Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning!
Trees go Ping!
Nong Ning Nang!
The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

It'll be a ****ing mud pit after half-time though.
Hopefully the water drains then because there's nothing worse than watching a match in conditions like the one described up at Newcastle. Tactics just go out the window and you just have to ride your luck. The ball will definitely be in the air quite a bit me thinks.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

It could well be but the ref is obviously giving it as long as possible/ The gates must be opening pretty soon so they'll have to make a decision before fans start entering the stadium.Originally posted by Chris View PostI reckon it'll be off, the ball wasnt bouncing, be a shame as more than anything Momo badly needs this.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

if he was going to call it off, he'd have done it at that point, which was over an hour ago, if conditions don't get any worse then it'll go ahead.Originally posted by Chris View PostI reckon it'll be off, the ball wasnt bouncing, be a shame as more than anything Momo badly needs this.Thomas Hicks Senior

Can call it off anytime. Fans were in the grpund when the Arsenal game was called off. The gates will open at half 1.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

They slip, dive feet first into Given, and injure him. Badly. And its then shown on MOTDOriginally posted by Morphorino View PostJust hope that they slip on the floor, make a tit of them self and end up soaked, that's enough.
Yeah, that'd do
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Not sure about that, they called off the Arsenal game when conditions were far far better than when they said it was ok. Clubs are always going to put the "its ok at the minute" spin on it as they dont give a **** about fans travelling. We'll see anyway, its only a gut feeling after seeing the lack of bounce on the pitch and news of rain continuingOriginally posted by Morphorino View Postif he was going to call it off, he'd have done it at that point, which was over an hour ago, if conditions don't get any worse then it'll go ahead.

NoOriginally posted by MrMichael View PostHaha. A Barcode friend of mine gets to go on the pitch today and present some supporters club player of the season trophy for last year to Shay Given, he'll be so gutted if it gets called off that I almost want it to be - is that really horrid of me?
If you've lost your faith in love and music the end won't be long

That ref had said the conditions had got worse tho in that instance, like I say if he was happy with the way it was 3 hrs ago, I don't see his opinion changing drastically unless there's a torrential downpour.Originally posted by Chris View PostNot sure about that, they called off the Arsenal game when conditions were far far better than when they said it was ok.
