What I mean is that Crouch is so slow that it makes him very easy to take out of a game. He is also to weak. Give him a push and the danger is over.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

i rate Crouch,Bellers and kuyt equally.they`re all great strikers and deserve to p[lay for us.each has their own qualities and pose a different threat.days like today happen, deal with it,we`ll have atleast 5 new players next season and will have the tools available to push for title.chelsea will implode and manure will be found out, don`t tell me Park,Fletcher or Carrick are world class.

But it will never change, what you see is what you will get - forever. He is what he is, and I wish people would get off his back, both Rafa & Mclaren both pick him, who the hell is of more relevance, managers or forum posters?Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostI really thought when Crouch arrived Rafa would give him a training schedule to build up his strength, his heading is absolutely atrocious, surely this is something he should really be focusing on if he wants to succeed at LFC.

I'll give Kuyt next season before I write him off.His second half miss was excellent play by him to make the chance in the first instance. As has been mentioned Neither Drogba,Bergkamp set the prem alight at first and you can add Henry to that, albeit he was changing playing position as well as league.A player like Van nistelrooy would score ****loads for us with the amount of clear chances we make.Last edited by G; 11-02-07, 12:23 PM.

We'll see how much McLaren picks him when Owen and rooney are fit.

I dont know if anyone has pointed this out but ive just seen highlights of the match now.
The penalty when Steven Taylor got it he just jumped up in celebration and ran around the place straight to Butts arms and hugged him with a big seaky smile as to say ive just cheated them(It probably was a pen but no need to act like that) I didnt like it one bitWhen you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

Also while im here, Momo had one or two nice passes, must have worked on his passing while he was out and boy does he need it. That for me is a big weakness for him. If he got that part of his game sorted up to the standard of Stevie and Xabi then we are looking at World Class somedayWhen you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

The pen:
Taylor left the trailing leg, and Riise bought it like a mug. Penalty, no question.
Kuyt vs Crouch:
Kuyt has better movement, better awareness, more pace, offers more goal threat in the air and is stronger on the ball.
Crouch has better technique and (so far this year) has scored more goals. Also better with his back to goal.
Overall though, Kuyt is the better all round player

i cant be assed reading most of the crap in this thread.
so i'll make it short and sweet.
We murdered the geordies in the first half, we should have been 3 up
People cant fault Pepe for that goal....he has done that countless times, and saved us many goals by doing so......this is one unlucky time where it didnt come off. Give him a break.
Bellamy was terrific today, he revelled in that atmosphere, and looked hungry. He should of had a second, but those conditions didnt help.
Kuyt....well what can i say....some of the responses ive read on him are deluded and laughable. He has been one of our best players this season. When he scores, you lot love him. When he doesnt, "he's got a terrible first touch, and his finishing is terrible" is often said. JOKE. He is a very very good player.
Riise= ****e. We need a new LB desperately, he is becoming a liability.
Pennant looked quite good today, he took Babayaro on, and beat him most of the time. Good to see.
Gerrard, was he even playing? he could learn a thing or two from Sidwell on how to be a box-to-box midfielder. He needs to get forward more.
Overall we were very unlucky, as is so often the case.
One ray of hope is that we are only a couple of players away from being a very very good football team."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Crouch misses much easier chances mate, all the time, tame headers straight at the keeper, at least Kuyt tries to put the ball away from the keeper, that's what you have to do to score, your always likely to miss more that way.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostMate he misses gilt-edged chances virtually every week. All strikers do, I know, but he misses more than most. Too many.
