How come Fernandes got to play...

...for The Bitters but we're still waiting on Masher?

    What's going on?

    **** knows.

I asked a Bluenose 'mate' of mine. His reply? "We jumped through all the right hoops when we brought him in. You obviously didn't do the same with Mascherano."

    Prick.

I imagine the difference boils down to the farcical ownership/contractual situation with Masher (as Tevez) - Fernandes' set up was complicated but not as messy as Masher's.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think it's simply that the FA felt they couldn't be seen to be bending the rules to help out a big club. Obviously that doesn't apply in Everton's case.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

There is a notable difference. Javier is owner by a third party (agent) while Fernandez is not, the FA or Preier eague refusing to sanction his transfer has nothing to do with the fact that this is the third club he has played for.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Gotta be careful here, AFC Wimbledon just had 18 points deducted (by the Ryman league) for fielding an ineligible player (didn't get clearance from the Welsh FA).

No doubt all the teams that Masher has played against this season are examining all the facts, and his registration papers in more detail, and looking to get something for nothing, as is always the case.

            Really?
Isn't Fernandez part owned by Benfica, part by some company?

Is that not the same as with Masch?

is correct.I think they'd already played him before all this malarky cropped up so playing him again today wouldn't make much difference

I didnt know that mate. Maybe he is a loan deal from Benfica? I dont know, not sure of the inso and outs of his deal with Everton, but would have guessed the agent ownership thing was the reason.
