Gerrard 'blown away' by owners

Steven Gerrard admits he was overjoyed after hearing George Gillett and Tom Hicks' vision for Liverpool.
The American duo agreed a takeover of the club last week and promised to invest massively in both the team and a new stadium.
They have already met both Gerrard and Jamie Carragher to discuss their plans for the club and the Liverpool captain was hugely impressed.
"After 15 minutes we had been blown away by the plans they had for the club," Gerrard told the Sunday Mirror.
"They said they are going to turn Liverpool into the biggest club in the world
"They spoke to us about the new stadium and about some of their plans to invest in the team, but what impressed me most was the assurance that they have come to win things.
"I think people have been a bit disrespectful to Liverpool over the last few years, but I can tell you that is going to change now that the takeover has been completed."
Gerrard concedes he is desperate to win the Premiership before he hangs up his boots, and is confident the glory days are about to return to Anfield.
"I believe that we are still the best club in the land and, with a bit of help from our new owners, there will come a time again when everyone outside Liverpool understands that as well," he warned.
"I would feel that I was a failure if I finished my playing career without winning the league."
