Excellence of Execution....

Following on from MrMichael's thread in the chat room.

In the words of Bret "Hitman" Hart - we need a striker who is the Excellence of Execution - can claim to be "The best there is, the best there was & the best there ever will be......"

At Liverpool sadly we do not have this luxury. Yesterday was a prime example of it. Bellers had a number of chances to finish the game off but missed them.

We need a clininical finisher who will score 9 goals from every 10 chances he gets.

Sadly the strikers we have at moment are not capable of that.

Peter Crouch is a really good back up striker, he supports, holds up the ball and gets flick ons.

Bellamy has never had the high percentage needed to be top striker.

Kuyt is a machine. He is working so hard for the team that I feel his game is suffering a little.

We have one out and out goal scorer.

Sadly Robbie didn't even make the bench.

Both the everton and Newcastle games were screaming out for Fowler, and I know his time is up but for teams defending deep he is currently our best option.............roll on the summer.
