We need four top notch strikers.

One or two of them might stay as backup for longer but there is more talent out there and I think Tom and George are going for that.

It’s always going to be hard to keep 4 top notch strikers happy considering that usually only 2 start a game with one on the bench. Therefore if everyone’s fit one striker will be left out of the 16 each week.

No, we don't need 4 top notch strikers, they cost too much and wouldn't bring anything different to what we have now, and would be unsettling to try & keep them happy, Rafa has spent close to £25M on 3 strikers so far, 1 top drawer striker will offer us all the possibilities we crave for.

We need creation to put the strikers in, to lay it on a plate for them, then we will get the goals galore with what we have, our current strikers are trying to create all the chances themselves and working hard at it whereas they should be hanging around the goal area banging them in.

They are missing sitters far to often. And if Alex can do it so can Rafa. The ones we have now are very good but IMO the Villas and Kloses of this world are better and taking the chances would make a world of difference.

I think it's a bigger chance that Crouch stays than Bellamy. It's more difficult to replace a player with Crouch playing style than one with Bellamy's playing style.

i'll go with most of that even though i think the jury is still out n kuyt ever being a 20 goal a season striker, i'm not the greatest fan of bellamy because i think there are better like for like but gonzalez has shown nothing yet to warrant being in that list.

I never was, I can guarantee you that.

As I've said elsewhere, I don't think we should sell him - he's good squad material - but I am desperate for a better first choice left back, and I believe Rafa is too.

We are signing him on a loan so there is every chance he will leave after 18 months

Einar? - Putting Finnan and Hyypia on the list to keep , and then saying that the rest will be cleared out in the next 2-3 seasons You should check their ages. They will be gone in the next 2-3 seasons Hyypia will be 34 this year and Finnan 31.

The only players we need at present are a RW and LW, a striker and a LB.

Fowler will go, Zenden will probably follow him and unless Kewell shows what he can do, he'll be gone within the next year.

The rest all offer the team options and will see out their contracts at least

Obviously you'd want the usual suspects to stay, Gerrard, ALonso, Momo, Carra, Reina, Agger etc and I would include Garcia in that. Kuyt and Bellers have shown enough this season to suggest they can cut it but Crouch if he stayed would have to be a squad player at best. Players like Riise, Pennant, Gonzalez, need to be replaced asap and players like Zenden, Fowler, Kewell who offer very little need to be shipped out.
