Well, he MUST have shown a modicum of ability at Feyenoord for Chelsea to sign him but, honestly, he’s been the worst player in the entire league this season. I haven’t seen a more consistently inept performer and on the basis of this season’s displays, he looks seriously poor.

As for ‘worst’ – well, he’s been the least impressive performer in the league in my eyes – ergo, worst (which wasn’t in CAPS).

As for Kalou, I have seen him a couple of matches for Feyenoord, not more I admit. And I was paying more attention to Kuyt at the time.

But I have seen him for the Chavs, and I think he can turn into a great player.

There’s nothing black and white about saying Kalou has had an appalling season. I don’t even think it’s a matter of opinion. He’s been really, really abysmal. Like I said though, he must have at least a modicum of potential as he did well enough for Feyenoord to secure himself a move to Chelsea. I’m just shocked anyone in their right mind would choose him as one of only three players from Chelsea, that’s all. He’d be the last one on my list.
