pick 3 players from past LFC legends to play for us now

Continuing from what others posted & because I am bored till the Barca game name 3 past POOL players you would like to see playing for us now.

    I'll go first

Alan Kennedy : Top class LB that will improve our defence
John Barnes : Will solve our problematic LW position & can play upfront
KING KENNY : Playing with Kuyt in attack, wow mouth watering

    So my team would be

    Reina

    Kennedy
    Carragher
    Agger
    Finnan

    Barnes
    Gerrard
    Alonso
    Pennant

    Dalglish
    Kuyt

    18-5-7-8-3

Hmm, I think Dalglish and Rush would be a slightly better option than Kenny/Kuyt.

I'd go for Dalglish, Rush and Digger. SORTED.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Couldn't bring myself to put Pennant in a midfield with Gerrard, Alonso and Barnes. He looked a bit out of place

                      Tough one this.

Although King Kenny is the greatest player ever to wear the red shirt, Rushie is the only cert for me, purely based on the fact that we're desperate for someone to put the ball in the onion bag on a regular basis.

Apart from Rush, I guess I'd have to choose from Souness, Kenny, Barnesy, Hansen, Hughes, Molby and Stevie Nicol.

Imagine a midfield of Gerrard and Souness with Rush up front and Digger on the left.

                        Hansen,Lawro,Rushie.
Hansen and Lawro were the best CB pairing we have ever had and Rushie would thrive with SG and Xabi`s pinpoint diagonal passing.

I'd bring in Alan Kennedy to sort this LB crap that we have at the moment. I'd bring in Johnny Barnes because although we have 30534205230325 left wingers, none of them are delivering week in week out (shame The_Milkman isn't a left winger, really ). Maybe I'd add Graeme Souness for the rough play and the partnership of Kevin Keegan + King Kenny (they would be unstopable if you ask me).

And of course Emlyn Hughes so that he would give us that LOVELY smile when he'd lift the FA Cup!

                            Barnes, Rush & Kenny.

Basically, we lack some decent width & a top class front 2 at the moment. Defensively we are solid (although I admit a new LB wouldn't go a miss) as we are in the middle of the park.

                            Reina
                            Finnan
                            Carra
                            Agger
                            JAR
                            Garcia
                            SG
                            Alonso
                            Barnes
                            Kenny
                            Rush

This team would be solid at the back with bags of creativity in midfield & a dual threat upfront. A very very good team indeed.
