As for those "slagging" Crouch being part of the "Houllier Brigade"; what on earth are you on about? He was a Rafa signing and is therefore judged as such. Honestly, I don't recall having ever seen a more embarrassing attempt to justify someone's inclusion. It really was cringeworthy. Christ, I'm one of the people that thinks Crouch is patently not good enough at this level but even I could come up with a more convincing argument than that.

I actually think he's an asset to our team. He should be used as impact player for the last 30 minutes or with a pacey striker beside him. He's just useless when he's alone upfront and thats Rafa's responsability. Rafa's wrong with this 4-4-1-1 tactics...We played like this one year ago and got humiliated at home by Chelski or got boring nil-nil draws.

I got annihilated with that murderous put-down this morning.

However, while I don't necessarily agree with their opinions they have at least expressed them fairly - it's their own opinion after all.
