It has to be goals that, even though they were against us, we applauded.

Over the years I can only remember clapping two goals scored against us at Anfield, the first was that Overmars goal for Barca after they had kept the ball for about 463 passes, and the other one was, bizarrely, a chip by Paul Peschisolido (probably spelt wrong but a decent effort) for Fulham in a League Cup game which must be getting on for about 7 or 8 years ago now.

          We still won 3-1 though.

(Oh and as for that Edman goal, I was there for that as well, but I was too stunned to clap)

To this day I'm amazed he didn't fall on his arse after kicking the ball away in disgust.

One of the best goals from distance certainly.

This is one of the 'best' I've seen, but what I love about this clip (and I have mentioned this before) is the fact they have a duck co-commentating, listen out for it.

Hope they don't play like that next week!!!

I was at that game & Barca were awsome in that second half, we hardly got a kick

I was watching the dead good match on espn classic over the weekend and it was showing the 5-3 victory over Norwich at their place (1983 I think) and Justin Fashanu (RIP) scored an absolute belter of a left foot volley after a flick and turn on his right foot!

There are others who have scored great goals - Yeboah for Leeds scored a couple I think and the best I can remember being scored recently is probably dogbreaths turn and shot in the chav game earlier this season.

                          Thoughts?

I believe it was from the guy by the name of Edman or sth, last season (or season before) v. Tottenham. GK had absolutely no chance! Top goal. But ****e if you compare it to McDermott's beauty against the same team...

Erik Edman's strike for Tottenham... Fookin SREAMER! Better than Yeboah's goal IMO!
