This is absolutely disgraceful - how can it take so long to sort this out? Haven't the dumb****s heard that FIFA said he could play for us?

We are only loaning him so any ownership issues are between the FA and West Ham who have his registration.

If we are now currently paying his wages and are being restricted from him providing us with his services due to Premier league and their go-slow decision making process, they should have to pay his wages while they dither.

To be honest the delay now seems quite sensible, it is probably quite difficult to get to the bottom of legally. What is mad is that the review into the move is happening now when it should have happened when Tevez and Mascherano joined West Ham. If nothing else it would have saved all of the other teams from demanding a points deduction from West Ham etc. which has to be making the situation more complicated.

Out of interest does anyone else know if any other European leagues have similar rules to the PL about players not being owned by clubs?

The whole thing just stinks really. You get the feeling that if this was the scum, Chelsea or Arsenal for that matter the whole thing would have been dealt with by now.
